Art Education:

studio practise

For serious artists, the studio is the central performance arena. It is here that ideas are born, developed, and converted to artworks that can be communicated globally. The ability to work successfully in the studio to produce professional quality work is based on the efficiency of the studio production models used by artists. This course introduces a veteran studio production model around which participants will create their own individual artworks. .

The model integrates 21st century knowledge with traditional practices and techniques and has been effective in producing a vast body of professional work. The conscious use of the techniques contained in this model should empower participants in expressing and communicating their ideas in visual form.
